Volunteers from these countries have feature in our projects

I raised £ 800 for the charity KIVOLEX registered in Tanzania. I assisted local midwives help to deliver babies in the labour ward of the maternity clinic. i formed fantastic memories and friendship from Tanzania and university. I volunteered in the Ngarenaro maternity clinic Arusha, Tanzania in 2012, my interesting encounter is when a mother i was helping to deliver never expected twins only to realize that she had twins. MedicalWe had an amazing time back in 2014. The kids at the orphanage where I volunteered were so good. The orphanage had about 180 kids, girls and boys, about 40 of them were living with HIV and about 70 of them had malnutrition. It felt so good and rewarding to help these orphans. Other volunteers and I helped the teachers with the teaching, cooking, washing and feeding. We played with the kids and taught them different games. There was alot fun at the volunteer house. The cooks and maids where awesome. I made great friends at the volunteer house and created memories that will last a life time. I would definitely recommend this program to any one.

Orphanage“Volunteering in Arusha was one of the best times I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived everyone was lovely to us. It felt like we were part of their home. We ate together and they always made sure we had fun. If ever we needed guidance on where to go or what to do, they would help out, even if it meant arranging a bus at night to take us to a club all together! Volunteering was really free and relaxed. We got to meet lots of people and feel like we were really getting involved in helping others out. There are also quite a few good clubs in Arusha which was a great surprise and something to definitely check out! The atmosphere was always very upbeat and I really felt like I was at a home away from home. I know if I were to return, I would be welcomed back as an old friend. I will never forget my time in Arusha, and only wish it lasted longer!”
